About REDA
Regional Emergency Dispatch Authority (REDA) is a consolidated dispatch center, receiving 9-1-1 and non-emergency calls for citizens of Eddy County, New Mexico. We dispatch for law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical services.
Our Public Safety Telecommunicators (PST’s) is Certified by the New Mexico Department of Public Safety and licensed by the New Mexico Emergency Medical Services Bureau to perform pre-arrival instructions during medical emergencies.
We are a P33 Certified Agency – We have met the APCO Project 33/ANSI Standard for our Training Program
REDA’s Mission
To serve and support the public safety communications needs of our customers in the most efficient and responsive manner possible by providing organized and/or protective communication services to any public or private agency, utilizing staff involvement and operations or our integrated systems at the highest quality and proficiency possible. REDA will be operated in a professional, courteous, cost-effective manner, accepting accountability for all actions
REDA’s Vision
REDA will be a model communications center, continuing to set a standard through which public safety telecommunications is measured. Forward progression in training, technology, and best practices will mark REDA as a leading communications center both locally and nationally.
